研究課題に掲げた「日本漢籍」とは中国・朝鮮・日本で書写・刊行された漢籍で、日本人が利用したものを総称して言う。日本漢籍は明治以降、学問的価値観が大きく転換し、漢学が後退したために、必然的に軽視されるようになった。しかし、近代以前の日本文化が漢学を基盤に置いていたことを思えば、日本漢籍は我が国の古典文化を研究考察する上で非常に大きな価値を有していると言えよう。本研究は、国内に現存する日本漢籍の古写本に関する調査を行ない、書籍一点ごとに詳細な解題を作成することを目的とする。今年度は、成城大学文芸学部准教授の山田尚子氏、本塾大学院文学研究科後期博士課程学生の齋藤慎一郞氏の助力を得て、大東急記念文庫、国立歴史民俗博物館、慶應義塾図書館などに所蔵される漢籍で、日本人の書入れの存するもの約１００点の調査に当たった。この調査結果は、来年度１０月に丸善の丸の内本店で開催される慶應義塾図書館所蔵貴重書展「古代・中世日本人の読書」で公表する予定である。また、これまでに行なった日本漢籍古写本の調査を踏まえ、古代から中世にかけての訓点書入れを俯瞰して漢文訓読史を執筆した。これは「漢文訓読（奈良時代から室町時代まで）」（講座「近代日本と日本語」第７巻『漢学と日本語』、戎光祥出版、２０２０年４月）として公刊した。 I researched old Japanese manuscripts of Chinese texts that contain annotations, held in the Gotoh Museum, National Museum of Japanese History and Keio University Library. Furthermore, at the same time, I described the history of vernacular reading of Chinese texts.
