日本は創業100年を超える「長寿企業」が多いことで知られるが、その多くは中小企業である。雇用創出・経済成長促進のため民営中小企業の発展促進が目指される中国では、日本の長寿企業に対する関心が一部で高まっている。本研究では、長寿企業の大宗を占める地域密着ないし内需型の企業ではなく、日本経済が置かれた環境変化に対応して海外展開を行いながら創業100年を達成しようとしている中小長寿製造業が、何故に日本経済の激しい環境変化に対応しながら存続でき、さらに海外展開に成功したのかについて明らかにすることを目的に、中国展開を行う事例企業を追跡していくことを試みた。具体的には、事例企業の創業以来の事業展開を業界発展史のなかに位置づけるべく資料収集とその整理を行い、関係者からの聴き取りを行った。この成果としては、すでに、『商工金融』2017年10月号に、事例企業の歴史的展開をまとめた「創業100年に向けての事業展開」を発表しているが、新たに収集した情報にもとづき、この論文の改訂作業を行った。また、同社の中国事業に新たなビジネスチャンスをもたらしたシェア自転車の発展とその特徴について、『日中経協ジャーナル』2020年3月号に「中国・シェア自転車の『ジェットコースター的』展開―変わる競争の方向と当面の展望」を発表した。最後に、本研究に対し資金的サポートをいただいたことに深謝申し上げる。 It is well-known that there are many long-life companies over the 100th anniversary in Japan. Infact, most of long-lived companies are SMEs. In China, where the development of private SMEs are being promoted, Japan's long-lived companies are receiving increased attention in these years. Actually, most of Japan's long-lived SMEs are targeting domestic market.But it is highly important to study how long-lived SMEs targeting foreign market can be adjusting to radical changes in the business environment. In this research, I focused on a Japan's SME with production bases in China----which is about to be the 100th anniversary, tried to analyze how it has adjusted to the structural changes of Japanese economy, and has succeeded in overseas business. Concretely, I made my effort to collect and organize the related materials,and conducted the investigation interviews with the people involved. In addition, besed on updated data and information ,I revised the paper I have published (Komagata, Tetsuya (2017)"The business development towards the 100th anniversary,"Shoko Kinyu 67(10),22-38). As the research result, I have published a papers below. Komagata, Tetsuya (2020)"The roller coaster of share-bike's development in China"J+C Economic Journal, No.314,24-27( in Japanese) Finally, I deeply appreciate the financial support to this research project from Keio Gijuku.
