• Note (General): type:text; 健康と要介護の中間に位置する虚弱をフレイルと呼ぶが、このフレイルの前段階としてオーラルフレイル（口腔の機能低下）の概念が提唱されている。歯の本数や咀嚼機能、嚥下機能などが評価項目として挙げられている。オーラルフレイルが進行すると要介護や死亡のリスクが上昇することも示されており、地域医療における対策が求められている。また、薬局には地域住民の健康維持・増進を支援する役割が求められており、我々はこれまでに薬局での唾液による口腔内環境チェックの有用性を示してきた。しかし、薬局でのオーラルフレイルの予防啓発に関する報告は少ない。本研究では、薬局利用者に対して口腔機能の簡便なチェックを行い、口腔機能低下の早期発見における有用性を検討することを目的とする。研究計画立案における情報収集のために、高齢者や歯科の領域の学会に多く参加し、また歯科領域の書籍も参照して、オーラルフレイルや口腔機能低下症に関する最新の知見を得た。これらをもとに、オーラルフレイルの症状やリスク、口腔体操などの予防策について、薬局利用者に対する情報提供資料（A4 4ページ）を作成した。また、薬局店頭でも実施可能な口腔機能の簡易チェックについて、歯の喪失の原因となる虫歯や歯周病のリスクが分かる唾液検査や、咀嚼能力をみるグルコース溶出検査や咀嚼チェックガム、8項目の質問紙Oral Frailty Index-8 (OFI-8) の利用を検討した。簡便さと、Covid-19の感染対策の観点からも、質問紙OFI-8にてセルフチェックを行うことを選択した。さらに、薬局でのオーラルフレイル啓発に対する満足度や、意識や行動変容に対する効果を検証するための質問紙を、統計解析も考慮して作成した。今後薬局での調査を開始し、データを収集する。また並行して、我々の先行調査（薬局での唾液検査に対する歯科医師の認識調査）の結果を英文論文にまとめて、英文校正を行った。 Recently, a concept of "oral frailty", which is the condition of lower oral functions such as chewing and swallowing, is introduced. Since it is suggested that oral frailty can be associated with the risk of long-term care needs and premature mortality of older adults, a strategy is needed. Community pharmacies are expected to maintain and promote the health of local residents. Previously, we indicated that oral health check-ups at a community pharmacy could change oral self-care habits and dental consultation behavior. However, there is few reports on an edification about the prevention of oral frailty at a community pharmacy. In this study, we try to check the oral functions of local residents and inform them about oral frailty at community pharmacies. 1) We originally developed leaflets about the symptoms, adverse health outcomes, and preventive methods of oral frailty. 2) We compared assessment tools of oral functions; the saliva tests, measurement of chewing ability by gum, and a self-administered screening tool (oral frailty index; OFI-8), and then we decided to use OFI-8 in our study. 3) We prepared questionnaire survey sheets about degree of satisfaction on the edification about oral frailty at community pharmacies and effects on change of oral care behaviors. 4) Our manuscript about the previous study was proofread before submission for publication.; 申請種類 : 福澤基金研究補助
