• Note (General): type:text; 個人に関するデータの利用が進むか否かは各個人の主観的評価に左右されるものであり、各個人の主観的評価は、インターネット上の表示等により提供される情報により左右される。本研究では、以上の思考経路に基づき研究課題を深く検討した結果、インターネット上の表示と各個人の主観的評価の関係について、実験により行動データを得て分析することが必要と考えられた。すなわち、商品に関しインターネット上に掲載されたユーザー評価（レビュー）が他のユーザーの商品購買行動に影響するとの先行研究の知見に鑑み、インターネット上に必ずしも真実ではないレビューが掲載された場合に消費者の購買等の行動が左右される効果や、同じ内容であっても表示の方法により消費者の行動が変化する効果などを計測することを第一の目標とした。 ２０２３年３月に約５０００名のインターネット利用者を参加者として実験を実施した。実験では、疑似的なインターネットショッピングサイトを構築し、調査会社に依頼して当該サイトに参加者を誘導し、商品選択を行わせることで、行動データを収集した。商品選択の画面の表示に当たっては、表示内容や表示方法が異なる主に５種類の介入がランダムに割り当てられるよう、参加者のグループ分けを実施した。商品選択に加えて、インターネットショッピングサイトの利用経験等に関する質問やリスク感覚に関する質問などを行い、各参加者の属性情報を収集した。 実験データに対して初歩的な分析を実施した結果、必ずしも真実ではない情報が行動を変化させること、そうした情報の影響は表示の工夫により緩和できる場合があること、そうした情報の影響及び緩和の程度は参加者の経験等の属性により異なる場合があるとみられること、等が判明した。今後更に分析を進めれば、大規模なインターネットサイトにおける表示に関する政策的示唆を得ることができると考えられる。結果発表は、情報通信学会や国際学会で行うことを検討中である。 The use of personal data is dependent on individual subjective evaluations, and those evaluations are influenced by information provided through various sources such as the Internet. Based on this thought process, this study deeply examined the research topic and concluded that it is necessary to conduct experiments to obtain and analyze behavioral data regarding the relationship between the display of information on the Internet and individual subjective evaluations. The main objective of the experiment was to measure the effects of reviews posted by users on the Internet regarding products, which have been found to influence the purchasing behavior of other users in previous studies, and the effects of display methods on consumer behavior, even if reviews posted online may not necessarily be truthful. In March 2023, the experiment was conducted with approximately 5,000 Internet users as participants. A pseudo internet shopping site was constructed for the experiment, and a research company was commissioned to invite participants to the site and allow them to make product selections, collecting behavioral data. Participants were divided into groups randomly, with mainly five types of interventions allocated to the display content and display methods for product selection screens. In addition to product selection, questions were asked about the participants' experience using the Internet shopping site, as well as their perception of risk and other relevant information, to collect demographic information. The results of the preliminary analysis of the experimental data showed that information that is not necessarily truthful can still influence behavior, but the effects of such information can be mitigated through careful display methods. It was also found that the degree of influence and mitigation of such information may vary depending on the participants' experience and other demographic factors. It is expected that further analysis of the data will yield policy implications regarding the display of information on large-scale Internet sites.
