• Note (General): type:text; 流体力学における数学解析、特に数値解析的方法の新たな開発に取り組んだ。主な問題は、非圧縮性Navier-Stokes方程式と線形輸送方程式である。非圧縮性Navier-Stokes方程式は流速場が満たすべき方程式である。密度が非一様な流れの場合、線形輸送方程式は密度場が満たすべき方程式となる。また、二相流体の場合、線形輸送方程式は二相の自由境界面を与えるlevel-set関数が満たすべき方程式となる。両方程式の連立系の解析においては、線形輸送方程式の取り扱いがポイントとなる。特に流速場の正則性がSobolevクラスになる場合は線形輸送方程式をDiPerna-Lionsの弱解の意味で解かなくてはならない。また、二相流体の場合、流速場が滑らかであっても、線形輸送方程式の解が与えるlevel-setの幾何学的諸量(法線ベクトル場、平均曲率、面積要素など)を導出するという複雑な問題が伴う。 成果1. 与えられた流速場から定まる線形輸送方程式の解を有限差分法で構成した。流速場をSobolevクラスから与える場合、これは一般に非有界であるため、通常の枠組みでは陽的有限差分法は使えない。本研究では、流速場のcut-offとcut-offされた部分の測度評価ならびに一般化された双曲型スケール極限を組み合わすことで、陽的有限差分法が適用可能なことを示し、近似の極限としてDiPerna-Lionsの弱解が構成できることを示した。さらに、流速場が滑らかな場合に、有限差分法によって、level-setの幾何学的諸量を厳密に構成できることを示した。 成果2. 密度非一様流を表す非圧縮性Navier-Stokes方程式と線形輸送方程式の連立系の弱解を有限差分法で構成した。二相流体の弱解を構成するための有限差分法も考案し、その数学解析が現在進行中である。 成果3. 物質拡散を伴う密度非一様流は(修正された)非圧縮性Navier-Stokes方程式と拡散項を付した線形輸送方程式の連立系で記述される(Kazhikhov-Smagulovモデル)。非線形性を単純化することなく同モデルの弱解を構成した。 成果4. 二相流体の数値計算において、線形輸送方程式を非線形項で修正する手法が近年注目されている。修正の目的は、level-setの幾何学的諸量を計算しやすくするためである。修正された線形輸送方程式の可解性を空間局所的古典解および粘性解のクラスで示した。 The project focused on mathematical analysis in fluid dynamics, particularly on developments of numerical methods. The central issues were the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations (NS) and the linear transport equation (LT). The velocity field is governed by (NS); in an inhomogeneous fluid flow, the density field satisfies (LT); in a two phase fluid flow, the level-set function that yields the free interface solves (LT). In mathematical analysis of the system of (NS) and (LT), investigation of (LT) plays a key role; especially, if the velocity field belongs to a Sobolev class, (LT) must be solved in the class of DiPerna-Lions weak solutions. In two phase flow problems, even if the velocity field is smooth, one has to deal with complicated issues of construction of geometric quantities of the level-set out of a solution of (LT) such as the normal field, the mean curvature, the area element, etc. Achievement 1. New finite difference methods were developed to solve (LT) with a given velocity field. If the velocity field is given from a Sobolev class, it is unbounded in general and the standard framework of explicit finite difference methods does not work. In this project, a new technique with cut-off arguments for the velocity field together with a measure estimate for the trimmed part and the generalized hyperbolic scaling limit was proposed so that a explicit finite difference method works for (LT) with an unbounded velocity field. It was also shown that the new method yields DiPerna-Lions weak solutions. Furthermore, it was demonstrated that, if the velocity field is smooth, the above mentioned geometric quantities of the level-set can be rigorously constructed by the finite difference method. Achievement 2. A new finite difference method was developed to construct weak solutions of the system of (NS) and (LT) for inhomogeneous incompressible flows. A new finite difference method is under discussion to construct weak solutions of two phase problems. Achievement 3. An Inhomogeneous flow with mass diffusion are described by modified (NS) and (LT) with the diffusion term, which is known as Kazhikhov-Smagulov model. Existence of a weak solution of the model was proven without any simplification of nonlinearity. Achievement 4. Nonlinear modification of (LT) so that numerical computation of the geometric quantities becomes more accurate has been a recent development in literature of computational fluid dynamics. The project gave a mathematical justification of the modified (LT) by proving solvability in the class of spatially local classical solutions and viscosity solutions.; 申請種類 : 福澤基金国外留学
