• Note (General): type:text; 近年のオペラ/音楽劇では、自然をテーマとした作品が近年存在感を増しており、その音響による扱いに作曲家の特徴が如実に表れる。本研究では、このテーマの考察対象として細川俊夫とサルヴァトーレ・シャリーノを取り上げた。まず、両者の自然哲学を彼らの著作や先行研究を通して浮き彫りにした。次に、両者の自然観が実際にどのように具体化されているかを、台本(言語)および楽譜(音楽)の分析から明らかにし、以下に要約する研究成果を国際誌および国内の研究会で発表した。 細川の自然観は東洋思想に強い影響を受けており、人間と自然との一体化に強い親和性を示す。彼のオペラ《班女》では、「待つ」というドラマ的な静止状態に置かれた主人公を取り巻く自然の音が主題化されている。そうした音を喚起するために、それを知覚可能にする条件となる静寂や沈黙を音響化するという逆説的な手法が取られる。 シャリーノの作曲も静寂や沈黙に特徴づけられるが、特殊な楽器奏法や歌唱法によってノイズ的なものに異化され、強く様式化されている。「目に見えないアクション」として構想された音楽劇《ローエングリン》では、一人で「待つ」状態に置かれた主人公の研ぎ澄まされた聴覚を通じて聞こえてくる自然が、異化された音響によって喚起される。さらに、主人公の発する声は歌唱という枠を超え出て、例えば息づかいや喉を鳴らす音といった原初的な身体運動としてのそれであり、これにより、いわば人間の身体に内在する自然が音響化されている。 In recent years, the theme of nature has been gaining prominence in opera/music theatre, and the characteristics of the composer are clearly expressed in the treatment of this theme through sound. In this study, I focus on two contemporary composers, Toshio Hosokawa and Salvatore Sciarrino, who are important in discussing this theme. First, I highlighted their philosophy of nature through their writings and previous studies. Next, I analyzed their scripts (language) and scores (music) to determine how their views of nature were embodied in practice, and presented the results of my research, summarized below, in an international journal and at a research conference in Japan. Hosokawa's view of nature is strongly influenced by Eastern thought, and has a strong affinity for the unification of man and nature. In his opera "Hanjo", the theme is the sounds of nature surrounding the protagonist, who is placed in a dramatic state of stillness, "waiting". In order to evoke such sounds, he takes a paradoxical approach of sounding out the silence and stillness that are the conditions for making them perceptible. Sciarrino's compositions are also characterized by silence and stillness, but they are strongly stylized, alienated into noise by specific instrumental and singing techniques. In the music theatre "Lohengrin", conceived as an "invisible action", the nature heard through the sharpened hearing of the protagonist, who is left alone in a state of "waiting", is evoked by the alienated sound. Furthermore, the singing of the protagonist goes beyond the framework of singing, and is embodied in elementary physical vocalizations, such as breaths or gurgles, thereby acousticizing the nature inherent in the human body.
