• Note (General): type:text; 本研究では、大気粒子の人体への沈着に影響を与える実環境中の粒子帯電状態変調の理解向上に資するために、その変動要因の一つと考えられる大気イオンの変動に応じた粒子帯電状態の基礎的な関係性を明らかにすることを目指した。発生した粒子(硫酸アンモニウム粒子)を多量の正負大気イオンを生成するAm241中和器もしくは正負それぞれのイオンを生成する帯電ガン(GC50S, グリーンテックノ)を通した空気との混合およびその混合時間を変化させることで粒子が曝露される大気イオン状態を変化させた。これらの変化させた大気イオンの状態はイオンカウンタ（COM-3800V2, コムシステム）により測定した。さらに曝露された粒子はタンデム式微分型電気移動度分級器(TDMA)を用いて、20 nmから500 nmの粒径範囲において± 1から± 5価までの帯電粒子の粒径分布を測定し、それらの割合によって評価された。 その結果、大気イオンとの混合時間の変化に応じて測定されるイオン濃度は変化したものの、イオン濃度の変化における粒子帯電状態の変動は見られなかった。一方で正負のイオン割合を変調させた場合は、その変調に応じた粒子帯電状態の変化が見られた。正負イオン割合が同様な場合、その粒子の粒径や価数に関わらず正負粒子の割合の比は平均0.97となり、正負帯電粒子割合の偏りは見られなかった。しかし、正負のイオンの偏りを生じさせた場合、その偏りに応じて正負帯電粒子の割合比も変化し、とりわけその粒径および価数が増大するほど、正負帯電粒子の割合比も大きくなった。 これらの結果はその質量濃度への寄与が大きいために健康への影響が大きいサブミクロン粒子ほど、より曝される大気イオン状態の影響を受けることを意味し、正確な健康影響評価のためにも、とりわけそれら粒子の帯電状態の考慮の重要性を示した。 またこれらの結果は国際および国内学会への発表を行い、さらに現在国際雑誌への投稿を準備している。 In order to improve understanding for variations of particle charging state, which affects the deposition of atmospheric particles into the human, in this study, we investigated the relationship to them with change in atmospheric ions conditions. The atomized particles(ammonium sulfate particles) were mixed with air passed through an Am 241 neutralizer or each polar corona discharge device. In this way, we was possible to generate particles exposed by arbitrary concentration and proportion of positive and negative ions. The conditions of the exposed ions was monitored by an ion counter. Also, the charging state of the exposed particles was measured by using a tandem differential mobility analyzer, which can measure the size distribution of ± 1to ± 5 charged particles with particle size range of 20 to 500 nm. These results were difficult to find changes of the particle charging states due to variations of ions concentrations, although the measured ions concentration decreased according to increase mixing time to particles with ions. In contrast, modulation of the ratio of positive and negative ions clearly resulted the variation of the particles charging state. Similar proportions of positive and negative ions indicated to lead to similar proportions of positive and negative charged particles regardless of particle size and charged number. However, the unbalance of positive and negative ions showed that not only the ratio of positive and negative charged particles changed, but also the unbalance of positive and negative charged particles increase as increasing in the particle size and charge number. These results mean that submicron particles, which have a greater health impact due to their larger contributions to mass concentration, may more affected by the atmospheric ions conditions. These results were presented at international and domestic conferences, and we are currently preparing to submit them to international journals.
