• Note (General): type:text; 小・中・高の新学習指導要領において、数学や情報など多教科で重視されている、問題発見・問題解決のための手段としてのデータサイエンス教育の狙いや方法論について研究を行った。その一端は「第18回統計教育の方法論ワークショップ」において、山内慶太「新学習指導要領における統計的探究内容の取扱い～小・中学校教科書比較を通じて」として報告を行った。全般には「データの活用」の内容の充実が図られていたが、出版社によって題材の選び方やPPDACサイクルに関する記述の詳しさに差異があり、自校で採択された教科書の長短を把握した上で、問題解決の方法論の面白さを体験的に学べる教材を選び、データとの対話の機会を取り入れて授業展開を行うことの重要性を確認した。 研究の目的であるデータサイエンス教育プログラムの開発において、中国で開発された小・中・高を通じたAI教科書が参考になるとの認識から、今年度はその中の中・高版の教科書の翻訳を依頼した。画像診断などAIの基礎知識について身近な例を用いて解説が試みられており、またテンソルなど日本の高等学校では扱わない高度な数学的内容まで踏み込んで説明されており、プログラム開発の参考となった。 また、それと並行して西山は幼稚舎の情報教育において、馬場は湘南藤沢高等部の統計教育において新しい教育実践の試みを展開した。馬場が湘南藤沢高等部6年生の選択科目「データ科学」で行った授業実践については、前述のワークショップにおいて「高3選択科目『データ科学』での授業実践」と題して報告した。この授業実践は、総務省統計局などが主催する「第3回統計データ分析コンペティション」への応募をカリキュラムの柱に据え、データ解析能力や論文作成能力を育成しようとする試みである。結果として、履修者1名が「統計活用奨励賞」を、また本校4年生が最優秀賞にあたる「総務大臣賞」を受賞し、全体でも学校表彰を受けることができた。 The importance of data science education is emphasized in various subjects in the governmental curriculum guidelines. We studied the objectives and methodologies of data science education as a means of discovering and solving problems. Yamauchi reported the research results at the 18th Japan Conference on Teaching Statistics, entitled "The Handling of Contents for Inquiry-Based Study of Statistics in the Curriculum Guidelines: Through the Comparisons of the Government-Approved Textbooks in Elementary and Junior High Schools." In most government-approved textbooks, the content of the utilization of data is sufficient on the whole, but there are some differences in the choices of examples and the description on PPDAC Cycles among the publishers. We confirmed the importance of understanding the pros and cons of each textbook and choosing appropriate teaching materials to support the students to enjoy the studies of the methodology for problem-solving. It is also important to teach by incorporating enough opportunities for the students to handle data. Additionally, a Chinese AI textbook (high school edition) was translated into Japanese as a reference for the development of data science education. The textbook explains the basic knowledge of AI providing familiar examples and advanced mathematical techniques, such as tensor. Finally, a new education practice was introduced in the computing class at Keio Yochisha by Nishiyama and in the statistics class at Keio SFC High School by Baba. Baba reported the education practice in his elective class, "Data Science," at SFC, in the conference mentioned above. In this class, students were required to apply for "The 3rd Statistical Data Analysis Competition" to cultivate their abilities of data analysis and enhance their thesis writing skills. As a result, several students won the encouragement awards, and SFC High School was awarded for its academic excellence.
