• Note (General): type:text; 十五年戦争期における帝国日本においては、広範で多様なアジアを包括的・統合的に捉える知のあり方が普遍化し、帝国に対抗的な民間学やアナーキズムもまた「汎アジア性」という性格を帯びてくる。本研究の課題の一つは、望月百合子（1900-2001）などのアナーキストの活動の検討をとおして、その「汎アジア性」の逆説性を考察することである。もう一つの課題は、その逆説的な「汎アジア性」が、戦後の社会運動にどのように引き継がれていったのか、その光と影の交錯について明らかにすることである。 第一の課題については、主として蔭木が担当した。望月百合子は1930年に『婦人戦線』を創刊した後に満洲に渡り、1945年の敗戦までそこに在住していた。一般には、その思想的進展は、アナーキズムからナショナリズムへの「転向」と見なされているが、近年の日本及び中国大陸での研究の進捗により整理公開が進んでいる満洲での望月の著作やその周辺の史料等を精査することによって、その「連続性」を「汎アジア性」の観点から捉え直すことを試みた。満洲在住期において、植民地の民族差別・性差別の実態を具に観察しえたからこそ、それを反転させるアナーキズム的共同体の可能性を再発見しえたことが結論づけられた。この点は望月だけにとどまらず、「汎アジア性」という観点からの「転向」の見直しは、今後の大きな課題となってくる。 第二の課題としては、戦後の「汎アジア性」の基礎となるアジアの気候と風土の問題について、実証的に考察した。この部分は、主として長谷川が担当し、アジアにおける気候変動問題の一環とする、戦後日本における気候変動や異常気象の認識の変遷についての英文論文（慶應義塾大学准研究訪問員キーガン＝カーサン氏との共著）がアクセプトされた。同論文では、日本では、むしろ寒冷化に対する懸念が長く続き、1980年代以降になってようやく人為的要因による温暖化への懸念が徐々に強まったことが示され、「風土」にかんする実態と意識との乖離という問題が新たに提起されることになった。 戦後の「汎アジア性」の思想的部分については、主として高草木が担当した。1960年代に鶴見俊輔（1922-2015）の発想によってつくられたハンセン病回復者施設「交流(むすび)の家」にかんする資料を発掘して、その施設の命名者である詩人・大江満雄(1906-1991)の「ライはアジアをむすぶ」という命題を考察した。大江は、一般に「転向詩人」と呼ばれ、戦時期には日本文学報国会編『辻詩集』(1943年)や『詩集大東亜』(1944年)に「国民詩」を寄せているが、戦後はハンセン病患者の文芸活動を一貫して支援し、「アジア(病)大学」等を構想した。大江におけるハンセン病の「汎アジア性」が戦時期の「大東亜」概念を継承するものであったことを確認することによって、逆に戦時期の「転向」の偽装性に論及し、「汎アジア性」の多層構造を解明することに寄与した。 In imperial Japan during the Fifteen Years War, the idea of a comprehensive and integrated knowledge of a broad and diverse Asia became universal, and folk studies and anarchism, which opposed the empire, also took on the character of 'pan-Asianism'. One of the tasks of this study is to examine the paradoxical nature of this 'pan-Asianism' through an examination of the activities of anarchists such as Yuriko Mochizuki (1900-2001). The other task is to clarify how this paradoxical 'Pan-Asianism' was succeeded by post-war social movements, and the intersection of its bright and dark sides. The first task was mainly undertaken by Kageki. After founding the Women's Front in 1930, Yuriko Mochizuki moved to Manchuria, where she lived until Japan's defeat in 1945. Although Mochizuki's ideological development is generally regarded as a 'turn' from anarchism to nationalism, Kageki has attempted to reconsider this 'continuity' from the perspective of 'pan-Asianism' by closely examining her writings in Manchuria and related historical materials, which have been increasingly organized and published due to recent progress in research in Japan and mainland China. Kageki attempted to rethink the 'continuity' of Mochizuki's work from the perspective of 'pan-Asianism'. It was concluded that Mochizuki was able to rediscover the possibility of an anarchistic community that could reverse the realities of ethnic and gender discrimination in the colonies because she was able to observe them in detail while living in Manchuria. This point is not limited to Mochizuki alone, and a review of the 'turn' from the perspective of 'pan-Asianism' will be a major issue for the future. The second task was to empirically examine the issue of climate and natural features in Asia as the basis of post-war 'pan-Asianism'. This part of the research was mainly carried out by Hasegawa, and his English paper (co-authored with Mr Keegan Cothern, Quasi-Visiting Fellow to Keio University) on the changing perceptions of climate change and extreme weather in post-war Japan, as part of the issue of climate change in Asia, was accepted for publication. The paper shows that in Japan, concern about cold weather lasted for a long time, and only after the 1980s did concern about anthropogenic warming gradually increase, raising the issue of the gap between reality and awareness of 'climate'. The ideological part of the post-war 'pan-Asianism' was mainly dealt with by Takakusagi, who unearthed materials related to the 'House of Exchange', a facility for people affected by leprosy, which was built in the 1960s based on the idea of Shunsuke Tsurumi (1922-2015), and examined the proposition of the poet Mitsuo Oe (1906-1991), the naming author of the facility, which underscored that 'Leprosy should unite Asia'. Oe was generally called a 'turning poet', and during the war years he contributed 'national poems' to the Japanese literary journal Tsuji Shishu (1943) and Shishu Daitoua (1944), but after the war he consistently supported the literary and artistic activities of people affected by leprosy, and proposed such projects as the Asia (Disease) University. By confirming that the 'pan-Asianism' of leprosy in Oe was inherited from the wartime concept of 'Greater East Asia', Takakusagi discovered the disguised nature of the wartime 'conversion' and contributed to the clarification of the multi-layered structure of 'pan-Asianism'.
