• Note (General): type:text; 布の風合いや食べ物の鮮度感、モノの美しさやぶつぶつ感などの視覚情報（視覚的質感）は、色彩や形状の知覚といったシンプルな視覚処理では説明することができない。なぜなら、視覚的質感は、物理的性質、個人的な経験、感性などの複雑な視覚処理が関与しているからである。複雑な視覚処理は個人間でばらつきが生じやすいことが多数の先行研究で報告されている。しかし、視覚的質感において個人差が生じる原因はあまり明らかにされていない。そこで、本研究は心理的特性が視覚的質感に与える影響を明らかにすることを目指す。 本年度は、感覚処理特性や障害傾向が触覚情報や味覚情報に関する視覚的質感に与える影響に焦点を当て、視覚刺激の作成および解析と予備実験を中心に繰り返し検討を行った。 触覚情報に関しては、毛足のある生地を目視することで高級感・キメの細かさなどの質感が認識されるという仕組みを実験心理学的・画像統計学的に探究した。結果として、スタンダードベロアの場合、高級感印象および細かさ印象は画像における輝度分布の歪度と正の相関があること、クラッシュベロアとスエードの場合、高級感印象および細かさ印象は歪度と無相関であることを見いだした。これらの知見は、毛足のある生地の質感印象を画像で伝えるための撮影方法に関する科学的エビデンスになりうると考えられる。オンラインショッピングの機会が増加する現代では、画像を通してそれらの布地の質感情報を得たり伝えたりする方法を知ることは重要である。 この他に、味覚情報に関しては、野菜の色彩情報を２D分光放射計や画像処理ソフトウェア「ImageJ」を用いて分析した。さらに、2020年8月頃から、化粧を塗布した目の質感を探求し始めている。いずれもSFC研究倫理委員会から承認を得て調査を開始している。 次年度は、より個人的な経験や特性を踏まえた認知指標や心理測定尺度を用いて解析していくことを予定している。 Visual information such as the texture of cloth, the freshness of food, and the beauty and bumpiness of objects (visual texture or shitsukan), can not be explained by simple visual processing such as the perception of color and shape because visual texture involves complex visual processing, including physical properties, personal experience, and sensitivity. It has been reported in many previous studies that complex visual processing tends to vary among individuals. However, the causes of individual differences in visual shitsukan have not been well understood. Therefore, this study aims to clarify the influence of psychological characteristics on visual shitsukan. This academic year, we focused on the effects of sensory processing characteristics and disability tendencies on visual shitsukan related to tactile and gustatory information and conducted repeated studies focusing on creating and analyzing visual stimuli and preliminary experiments. As for the tactile information, we explored the mechanism by which pile fabric's visual perception leads to the shitsukan perception, such as luxury and fineness, using experimental psychology and image statistics. As a result, we found two points: in the case of standard velour, the impression of the luxury and fineness are positively correlated with the skewness of the luminance distribution in the image; in the case of crushed velour and suede, the impression of the luxury and fineness are uncorrelated with the skewness. These findings could provide scientific evidence for image statistics' methods to convey the texture impression of pile fabrics in images. Recently, where online shopping opportunities are increasing, it is essential to know how to obtain and convey these fabrics' shitsukan information through images. Besides, concerning taste information, the color information of vegetables was analyzed using a 2D spectroradiometer and an image processing software "ImageJ." Furthermore, we have started to explore the texture of the eyes with makeup from August 2020. Both of these investigations have been started after receiving approval from the SFC Research Ethics Committee. Next academic year, we will analyze cognitive and psychometric indices based on personal experiences and characteristics.
