近年デジタル・プラットフォームを用いたビジネスが世界中で大きな進展を見せている。特にコロナ禍の中で外出規制が行われたここ数年間で、Zoomなどを用いた在宅勤務や、スマホアプリを用いた二次流通システム、デジタルな認証による決済、さらにはデジタルcurrencyを用いた国際的な決済など、これまでのヒト、金、情報、など市場を取り巻く経営資源の内、実際のモノの側面を除くほとんど全ての要素でデジタル化が進展している。こうした状況を生み出したのは２０世紀後半から大きな進展を見たインターネットやスマートフォンの技術と普及、またそれをデジタルな側面から可能とする様々な承認技術の進展がある。こうした技術の進展は今後も加速的に進歩することが予想されるが、それに伴った倫理的課題事項も比例的に増加しており、法整備をはじめとしたコントロールの技術と規範は大きく立ち遅れている。この分野は先進技術とその企業倫理的課題という新しい分野であり、英米をはじめとする諸外国が研究において進んでいる。幸いケンブリッジ大学ダウニング校が訪問教授として受け入れてくれたことから、そこを拠点として主にヨーロッパにおけるこの分野の研究状況を確認することを計画していた。ところが今年もコロナ禍のために塾の方針として教員の海外渡航が制限されることとなり、やむをえず、日本国内における調査を中心とせざるを得なかった。同時に文献研究においては海外のものを中心に収集を進め、概ねその先行研究状況を把握することができたと考えている。今後はさらに国内の状況把握を進めると同時に海外の先進的研究とその実地調査を経て、比較研究を進めていきたいと考えている。 In recent years, the number of businesses that use digital platform technology has grown remarkably. Especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, people experienced remote work by using Zoom, etc., trade by and thru E-commerce (i.e. Amazon), financial payment by fintech. The world has realized that almost all commercial transaction is possible thru internet virtual platforms. Despite the convenience of these technological developments, there are numerous normative, i.e. ethical, legal, cultural problems that have emerged. Through this project, I would like to examine ethical issues in the 21st century. I collected the basic materials and surveyed previous research. Originally, I had planned to go to Europe to conduct field research; however, due to COVID, I was unable to go. I collected several books that discuss the situation overseas and at the same time, did interviews with Japanese company employees.
