• Note (General): type:text; 本研究はルイ14世治下に王立絵画彫刻アカデミーで開催された一連の講演会 (コンフェランス) について、包括的な分析を行うものである。この講演会は、造形藝術についての公的で確実なアカデミーの規則を整備することを目論み、基本的には、素描を基礎に据えた古典主義理論の構築を目指していた。だが、17世紀後半から18世紀初頭にかけて「藝術」に対する価値観が次第に変化する時代にあって、講演会の内容には、しばしば矛盾や齟齬が生じている。講演会録の精読を通して、その言説の揺らぎや多様性を分析し、近代に至る藝術上の変革がいかに生じてきたのかを検証することが本研究の目的である。 3年計画の1年目である本年度は、講演会が本格的に始動した1667年に行われた計7回の講演会について、他大学のフランス美術史研究者に協力を得ながら、A・フェリビアンによる講演会録の翻訳に詳細な註をつけ、さらに解題を執筆した。報告者が担当したのは第7回のセバスティアン・ブルドンによるニコラ・プッサン作《盲人の治癒》(1650)についての講演である。ここでは、光と色彩の表現についての分析が特筆され、後の色彩論争(素描と色彩のどちらが重要かについての論争)での色彩派を先取りする記述が見られる。同時に、物語画を描く上でのデコールム(適切性)についての議論がなされたが、この点に関して報告者は、プッサンの《盲人の治癒》を聖書釈義の観点から分析し、講演会で議論が紛糾した聖書の記述への忠実さについて、新たな見解を示す論文を執筆した(査読の上掲載決定)。また関連する研究成果として、プッサンがラファエロによるシスティーナ礼拝堂用タピスリーの構想から、物語構成法をいかに受容しているかを検討し、アカデミーの理論構築と関連付ける論文を刊行した。さらに17世紀末にアカデミーの名誉評定官となった色彩派の論客R・ド・ピールの色彩論について、古典主義彫刻とは異質な、イタリアの彫刻家ズンボによる着色蝋彫刻に対する彼の評価という、独自の視点から分析した論文を発表することができた。 This study is a comprehensive analysis of a series of lectures (conferences) held at the Royal Academy of Painting and Sculpture under the reign of Louis XIV. The lectures aimed to establish official and reliable rules of the academy for plastic arts with an initial objective to construct a theory of classicism based on drawing. However, in the late 17th and early 18th centuries, when values regarding "the arts" were gradually changing, there are often contradictions and inconsistencies in the content of the lectures. The purpose of this study is to analyze the changes and diversity of the discourse through a close examination of the lecture transcripts, and to examine how the changes in the arts leading up to the modern period occurred. In the first year of the three-year plan, under the cooperation of art historians from some universities, seven lectures given in 1667 were translated into Japanese with detailed notes and explanation, based on the lecture transcripts by André Félibien. I was responsible for the seventh lecture by Sébastien Bourdon on Nicolas Poussin's Healing of the Blind (1650). The analysis of the expression of light and color is particularly important here, with descriptions that anticipate colorists such as Roger de Piles in the later quarrel of drawing versus color. In addition, there is a discussion on the decorum of history painting. Regarding this, I analyzed Poussin's Healing of the Blind from the perspective of biblical exegesis, and wrote a paper presenting a new perspective on the aspect of faithfulness to the biblical description (the paper is going to be published soon). At the same time, I published an article examining Poussin's method of composing history paintings focusing on how Poussin assimilated Raphael's concept of tapestries for the Sistine Chapel. Furthermore, I was able to publish an analysis of the color theory of Roger de Piles, a colorist who became Conseiller Honoraire of the Academy at the end of the 17th century, in terms of his evaluation of the Italian sculptor Gaetano Giulio Zumbo's colored wax sculptures, which were quite different from the classical sculptures.
