• Note (General): type:text; 母国を離れて暮らすディアスポラのメディア環境は多様化している。本研究の代表者と分担者はこれまで、韓国系ディアスポラの母国メディア利用について、北米や南米、ヨーロッパの複数の都市で調査を行い、その成果を発表してきた。2年計画の本研究プロジェクトでは、日本に居住している韓国および中国出身者が対象であるが、昨年度は中国出身人々のメディア利用について研究を行い、その結果を2022年3月発行のメディア・コミュニケーション研究所の紀要『メディア・コミュニケーション』に「ホスト社会メディアに対する認識と（非）利用」というタイトルの論文として発表した。今年度は、日本に居住している韓国出身者を対象に、昨年度の中国出身者に対する調査と同じ項目で調査を行った。結果は現在分析中であるが、ホスト社会メディアに対する認識および母国メディア利用の多さは、中国出身者のそれと非常に類似している様子を見せている。詳しい分析の結果は、2023年3月に出版予定の『クリティカル・オーディエンス―メディア批判の社会心理学』（仮題）に所収予定である。2021年度は、韓国出身者のほかに、日本の人々が日本のメディアにおける中国（人）および韓国（人）の描写についてどのように認識しているのかについても調査を行った。これらの結果も、2020年度および2021年度の中国・韓国出身者に対する調査の結果と比べながら、ホスト社会メディアに対するディアスポラの認識の実態とそれに影響されながら行われる母国メディアの利用およびその影響について考察を深めていきたい。 The media environment of the diaspora living away from their home countries is diversifying. The researcher and co-researcher of this research project have conducted and published research on the Korean diaspora's use of home media in several cities in North and South America and Europe. The two-year research project is aimed at Korean and Chinese residents living in Japan. Last year, we conducted a survey on the media use of Chinese residents and published a paper titled "Perceptions of Host Society Median and their (Non) Use" in the March 2022 issue of Keio Media and Communication Research. This year, we conducted a survey of Korean people residing in Japan, using the same items as in the previous year's survey of Chinese people. The results are currently being analyzed, but they show that the perceptions of host society media and the great amount of home media use are very similar to those of the Chinese respondents. The results will be published in a book tentatively titled "Critical Audience: A Social Psychology of Media Criticism," which is scheduled for publication in March 2023. In 2021, in addition to the survey on Korean living in Japan, a survey was conducted on how Japanese people perceive Chinese and Korean portrayals in the Japanese media. These results will also be compared to the survey of Chinese and Korean conducted in 2020 and 2021 respectively to further examine the diaspora's perceptions of host society media and the use of home country media and its impact as it is influenced by these perceptions.
