• Note (General): type:text; 本申請者は美術活動を行う自らの研究室における家具を製作し使用しながら検証することで価値ある意匠を探求してきた。本研究はその第５弾である。本申請者らは研究室で創作に熱中するあまり散らかす，ゴミを捨てないなどモラルがない。モラルに欠けた人々を相手に性悪説に基づいたデザインに挑戦した。本申請者らは， a. 美術系研究室のテーブルを常に散らかすのがデザイナーの性ならば「かたづける」所作自体を減らすデザインはないか? 次の大学バスが来る３分間で片付くワザはないのか? b. テーブルだけでなく研究室全体がゴミだらけである。モラルが低いことに加え「ゴミに近い端材」と「端材に近いゴミ」は判別できないからだ。「もったいない」気持ちと折り合いをつけるかたちをデザインできないか? 以上の方針を策定し以下解決手法を設定し設計を行った。 A. しまえる天板 テーブルを片付けるとは卓上に散らかしたものを引出しにもどす所作である。であれば卓上の天板を引出しとして設計し山盛りの「散らかり」を直接ドロー・インすれば瞬時に片付けられる。この考えをもとに以下を加味した制作を実施。 1. テーブル面の下に天板がしまえる引出しスロットを設置 2. スロットはフィーレンデール構造を形成するよう設計 3. 関東大震災級でも倒壊しない構造設計 4. 搬入路を測り分割搬入，現場組み立てを前提に設計 しまえる天板はドロー・インできるようローラー支承としたが，精度に難があり改善点が残った。次年度に改良を試みる。 B. 漁れるゴミ箱 捨てる所作を2段階にする。「もったいない」猶予を1週間与え，それを過ぎればゴミとする方針を策定し設計，試作を実施した。だが端材サイズが予測できない。端材をゴミ箱に移行するカラクリが設計できないなど，多くの課題が見つかり決定打が出なかった。資源とゴミの境は何かを見極める議論は深くデザインにいたらなかった。次年度に改良を試みる。 The applicant has made furniture for his studio where he conducts his art activities. The applicant has used the furniture then evaluated his own design. This study is the fifth in a series of case studies. The applicant and the studio members are so absorbed in their creative work that they make a big mess in the studio and do not clean up. The applicants attempted to design two pieces of furniture based on a thought that human as bad nature. The applicants have a. If it is the nature of designers to always make a big mess of the tables in art studios, is there any design that reduces the act of "putting things away" itself? Or is there a design that can be cleaned up in three minutes when the next school bus arrives? b. Not only the tables, but the entire studio is full of garbage. In addition to low morale, it is impossible to distinguish between " scraps that are close to garbage" and "garbage that is close to scraps". Can't we design a way to deal with the feeling of "mottainai" (wastefulness)? The applicant has formulated the above-mentioned policy, and has established the following solution method. Based on the solution, the applicant designed two pieces of furniture. A. Storable tabletop The applicant defined the act of cleaning a tabletop as the act of returning a big mess on the tabletop to a drawer. Based on this definition, the applicant decided that the tabletop could be designed as a drawer and the mess could be instantly cleaned up by directly drawing in the mess. Based on this idea, the applicant created a table with the following features: (1) The applicant installed bays under the tabletop to allow the tabletop to be stored away. (2) The bays were designed to form a Firendale structure. (3) The table was designed to be able to resist against the Great Kanto Earthquake. (4) The applicant has designed the table according to the sizes of access way to the studio where the table is installed. The applicant designed the table which can separate into two pieces and assemble them on site at the studio. The applicant designed the tabletop supported on a roller bearing to allow the tabletop to be drawn in. However, the accuracy of the design was insufficient, and there are still improvements to be made. will improve it in the next year. B. Fishable Trash Can The applicant decided that the problem could be solved by making the act of cleaning up trash into two steps. The applicant designed and built a prototype, giving the user one week for "It could be resource," after which the trash is disposed of. However, the applicant encountered problems in implementing this idea. For example, the size of the end material was not always small. And it was impossible to design a mechanism for transferring the end material to the trash bin. The applicant has learned by doing so that the debate over what constitutes a resource and what constitutes trash is much deeper than expected. As a result, the applicants were unable to design a trash can that can be fished out. We will try to improve it in the next year.
