事業計画に従い、バロック文学、とくにアンドレアス・グリュフィウスについての基礎的な調査を中心に進めた。その一環として、他大学の研究者と連携してグリュフィウスの翻訳プロジェクトを立ち上げ、代表作『レオ・アルメニウス』（1650）の翻訳作業に着手した（3か年で完訳予定）。バロック期のドイツ文学は日本での翻訳紹介がまだほとんどなされておらず、このプロジェクトは日本のドイツ文学研究だけでなく、バロック研究全般にとっても大きく貢献することが期待される。また、当初の事業計画では2年目に予定されていたフランツ・グリルパルツァーとバロック文学の関係に関する調査でも進展が見られた。その成果の一部について、複数言語圏の文学研究者によって構成される研究グループ「リアリズム文学研究会」の例会で口頭発表をおこない、次年度以降の研究に向けての貴重なフィードバックを得ることができた。 According to the research plan, I have done basic research on Baroque literature, especially on Andreas Gryphius. In that connection, I have launched a translation project of one of his major works "Leo Armenius" (1650) with researchers at other universities, which will be finished in the third year of the research plan. This translation project must be of great significance not only for German studies but also for Baroque studies in general in Japan because as yet almost no work of the German literature of the Baroque era has been translated into Japanese. In addition to this, I have also made progress in the research on the relationship between Franz Grillparzer and the Baroque literature, which is originally scheduled for the second year. By giving a paper on the subject at a regular meeting of the research group "Association for the Studies of Realism Literature" comprised of scholars of multilingual literature, I received meaningful feedback for the research in the following years.
