• Note (General): type:text; 本研究は、書籍出版を最終目標として、3年の研究計画を立てて遂行する。一年目となる2022年度には、主に次の4つの作業を行った。第一に、アヘン戦争から2020年代までの中国近現代史を概観しながら、その政治空間における伝統的な士大夫と交代して登場する近代的な知識人の誕生、生成、変遷の歴史を整理した。第二に、20世紀中国知識人を世代別に区分し、各世代の時代背景と学問的特徴も見出した。これは1990年代から登場し、現在まで活躍している「公共知識分子」の歴史的系譜を探る作業である。第三に、1980年代以後、中国の知識界内部に形成された3つの文化権力領域と紹介し、そのうち民間の、学際的な公共領域たる思想界における各種論争と分岐点、そこから派生した政治社会思潮も分類し、整理した。最後に、時代情勢により幾度の断絶は余儀なくされるものの、知識人たちが一貫して努めてきた近代的個人の発見（市民の統治の対象性から主体性の発見）の文脈を抽出し、仮説の一つを提示した。これらの研究の一部を、「地域研究・中国事情Ⅴ・Ⅵ」（三田）、「自由研究セミナー」（日吉）で大いに活用し、講義の中身を充実させ、履修学生からも建設的な反響が得られた。また少人数の研究グループで研究報告をし、専門家たちと意見交換を行った。現在、アジア政経学会2023年度全国大会の自由論題で学会報告の準備を進めている。 このような研究と教育の傍ら、テーマに係る資料収集を継続的に行っている。本資金申請当初は、アジア地域の史料を豊富に所蔵しているハーバード大学（エンチン研究所、ファンライブラリ）で、資料収集を行う計画を立てていたが、円安による出張費の高騰で実行できなかった。その代わりに韓国で、近現代知識人に関する研究書籍を集めた。次年度には、ハーバード大学での資料収集は実行したい。そのためには今年度以上の研究資金が必要である。とりわけ1988年頃に出版され、刊行停止になった「新啓蒙（シリーズ）」雑誌などはぜひ入手したい。 The final goal of this research plan is to publish a book three years later. Three tasks were carried out in the first year. First, I summarized the modern history of China. I sorted out the history of modern intellectuals' birth, development, and changes who replaced the traditional intellectual - Shidaifu in Chinese politics in the 20th century. Second, I divided the generations of Chinese intellectuals in the 20th century and analyzed each generation's historical background, academic concerns, and features. This is a foundational work exploring the historical genealogy of modern public intellectuals. Third, I divided the three cultural fields that formed within the Chinese intellectual community after the 1980s, categorized the various debates, disagreements, and derived issues within the civil intellectual circles, and classified various political and social thoughts and trends from them.
