• Note (General): type:text; 日本および欧米のムスリムの宗教実践、多文化共生、多文化主義、社会統合とムスリム移民に関わる文献などの整理を各メンバーが分担して実施した。また、日本のムスリムコミュニティの実態を知るためのフィールド調査を実施してネットワークを築き、異文化交流や多文化共生といったこれまでの視点を超える共生を目指して、彼らと協働したいくつかの活動も実施した。 主なフィールド調査と活動は以下の通り。 1．国内のモスクやムスリムコミュニティ調査 大阪ダアワジャパンセンター、仙台モスク、千葉イスラーム文化センター、東京ジャーミイ、東京インドネシアモスク、秋葉原ヌサンタラモスク、歌舞伎町アル・イフラスモスク、大塚モスクなどを訪問し、モスクやコミュニティの成立や活動内容、モスク利用者などについての聞き取りを行い、継続的に情報提供・共有するためのネットワークを構築した。 2．共生に向けた働きかけの試み・発信 1）ヤングムスリムが発信する映像プロジェクト「ヤングムスリムの窓」の実施。日本で生まれ育った"ヤングムスリム"3人が、自分自身、また自分の目を通して見える社会を伝える映像を作るプロジェクトである。彼らの目を通して、日本におけるイスラームは「外国の宗教」、日本に暮らすムスリムは「外国人」という固定概念を覆し、新しい理解が進むことを目指した。7月に京都でワークショップ、11月にはSFCのORFにてセッション、さらに2月には京都にて展示会を開催した。 2）大塚モスクとの月例のフードドライブ実施。モスク利用者や近隣の住民から余剰食料を集め、近隣の複数の子ども食堂に配布するプロジェクトで、研究代表者のゼミの学生たちが運営に関わる。モスクスタッフや利用者はパキスタンを始めとする外国人が多く、行政の多文化共生の施策においては"支援される"側。しかしこのプロジェクトでは、彼らが"支援する"側として我々研究者や学生と協働して、援助を必要としている人たちを助ける。この取り組みを通じ、イスラームへの理解促進、ムスリムも包含する新しい社会構築を目指した。 3）研究分担者3人は、トルコ政府宗務庁との協力の下、クルアーン日本語読解制作委員会のメンバーとして『クルアーン日本語読解』ウェブ版を完成させた。ムスリムのみならずノンムスリムの日本人にも容易にアクセスできるものであり、日本におけるイスラームやクルアーンのよりよい理解に寄与することが期待できる。 Each member conducted a literature review related to the religious practices, multiculturalism, social integration, and Muslim immigration of Japanese and Western Muslims. Besides, the field surveys and the survey-related activities were conducted to understand the actual situation of the Muslim community in Japan, to build a network, and to implement various activities in collaboration with them towards a living-together society beyond the previous perspectives of intercultural exchange and multiculturalism. The main field surveys and activities were as follows: 1. Survey of domestic mosques and Muslim communities: Visited various mosques and communities, such as Osaka Da'wah Japan Center, Sendai Mosque, Chiba Islamic Culture Center, Tokyo Camii, Tokyo Indonesian Mosque, Akihabara Nusantara Mosque, Kabukicho Al-Ikhlas Mosque, and Otsuka Mosque, to conduct interviews about the establishment and activities of mosques and communities, mosque users, etc., and to build a network for continuous information sharing. 2. Activities and dissemination for the living-together society: 1) "Young Muslim's Eyes". This is a project in which three "Young Muslims" born and raised in Japan make videos to tell about themselves and the society they see through their own eyes. Through their eyes, they aimed to overturn the fixed concepts that Islam in Japan is a "foreign religion" and that Muslims living in Japan are "foreigners," and to promote new understanding. A workshop was held in Kyoto in July, a session at ORF at SFC in November, and an exhibition in Kyoto in February. 2) Monthly food drive project with Otsuka Mosque. Students in Nonaka lab are involved in the operation of this project, which collects surplus food from the mosque users and neighborhood residents and distributes it to several children's cafeterias in the neighborhood. Many of the mosque staff and users are foreigners who are expected to be "supported" by Japanese government in its multiculturalism policies. In this project, however, they will work with the researchers and students, as the "supporters" to help those who need assistance. Through this effort, we aimed to promote understanding of Islam and build a new society that includes Muslims. 3) The three researchers of us completed the web version of "The Japanese Translation of the Qur'an" as members of the Production Committee for the Japanese Translation of the Qur'an, in cooperation with the Turkish Government's Religious Affairs Office. It is easily accessible not only to Muslims but also to non-Muslim Japanese, and is expected to contribute to a better understanding of Islam and the Qur'an in Japan.
