理論物理における様々な分野においてトポロジーの活用を発展させた。【素粒子論の研究】トポロジカル・ソリトンの量子生成機構を提案した。コールマン・ワインバーグ・ポテンシャルのある場合の渦を構成した。様々なトポロジカル・ソリトンの関係を明らかにした。２次元の非線形シグマ模型のリサージェンスの構造をラージN極限で調べた。高速回転する有限密度QCDにおいて非アーベリアン・ソリトンの相を発見した。【物性論の研究】 SU(3)磁性体におけるCP(2)スキルミオンを提案した。カイラル磁性体における、ドメイン壁スキルミオンを議論した。 3P2トポロジカル超流動における半整数非可換渦を構成した。１次元の量子ナノワイアーの端におけるマヨナラ・フェルミオンを、拡張された超対称性の部分的破れに対応するゴールドスティーノと同定した。 I explored the use of topology in various subjects in theoretical physics. [High energy physics] We proposed quantum nucleation of topological solitons. We constructed vortices in a model with the Coleman-Weinberg potential. I have clarified relations among various topological solitons. We have studied resurgence structures of nonlinear sigma model in two dimensions in the large-N limit. I have found a non-Abelian soliton lattice phase in rapidly rotating QCD at finite density. [Condensed matter physics] We have proposed CP(2) skyrmions in the SU(3) magnets. We have discussed domain-wall skyrmions in chiral magnets. We have constructed half-quantum non-Abelian vortices in 3P2 topological superfluids. We have identified Majorana fermions appearing in edges of a one dimensional nanowire as Goldstinos for partially broken extended supersymmetry.
