• Note (General): type:text; 本研究では、組織の形が組織構成員同士の繋がりやすさに影響するという発見があった。筆者はこの「組織構成員同士の繋がりやすさ」のことを「組織の広さ」と表現した。そして、組織の形が組織の広さに影響し、組織の広さがイノベーションの発生に影響することが分かった。具体的には、組織の中でアイデアと資源が別々の場所に滞留すると、イノベーションが起こりづらくなることが判明した。つまり、アイデアと資源をそれぞれ豊富に持っている組織であっても、イノベーションを起こせるとは限らないのである。この発見から派生した研究を、筆者は、国際学術誌と国内学術誌と商業誌と書籍において、広く社会に公開した。 In this study, we found that the shape of an organization affects the ease with which its members can connect with each other. I expressed this "ease of connection among organizational members" as "organizational breadth. It was then found that the shape of the organization affects the breadth of the organization, and that the breadth of the organization affects the occurrence of innovation. Specifically, it was found that when ideas and resources stagnate in separate locations within an organization, innovation is less likely to occur. In other words, even if an organization has an abundance of ideas and resources, respectively, it may not necessarily be able to innovate.
