本研究では、有職母親の就労継続の鍵となる複数役割満足感を高める要因の一つとして資産形成に着目し、ジェンダー意識が本人名義の資産形成にどのような影響を与えているかを探究することを目的とした。またジェンダー平等が進んでいるノルウェーと比較研究を行った。ノルウェーでは、夫名義金融資産額と妻名義金融資産額の差は、夫と妻の年収の差に比例していたが、日本の場合、妻が家計に関する意思決定を主にやっているほど、夫婦の金融資産額の差が小さくなっていた。日本の有償・無償労働の貢献が資産保有に反映される現状は、夫婦それぞれの名義で保有する金融資産額の格差是正につながり、ジェンダー不平等を見えにくくしていた。 This study focused on asset formation as one of the factors that increase the sense of satisfaction with multiple roles, which is a key factor for working mothers, and aimed to explore how gender consciousness affects asset formation in the name of the mother herself. We also conducted a comparative study with Norway, which has made progress in gender equality. In Norway, the difference between the amount of financial assets in the husband's name and in the wife's, name was proportional to the difference in annual income between the husband and wife. In Japan, however, the more the wife was primarily responsible for decision-making regarding household finances, the smaller the difference in the amount of financial assets between the couple. The current situation in Japan where the contribution of paid and unpaid labor is reflected in asset holdings led to a correction of the gap in the amount of financial assets held in each couple's name, making gender inequality less visible.
