臨床医学研究及び基礎医学研究の統計手法・研究デザインの調査を実施した。調査結果をもとに、生物統計報告ガイダンス作成した。具体的には、臨床医学雑誌New England Journal of Medicine、基礎医学雑誌Natureの原著論文、レター、総説等から統計手法を調査し、使用頻度が高い統計手法、誤りやすい手法等を整理した。また、臨床医学研究と基礎医学研究で用いられる統計手法を明らかにし、医学研究の計画・解析・報告のための生物統計報告ガイダンス案及び統計教育のシラバス案を作成した。 We conducted a survey of statistical methods and study designs for clinical medical research and basic medical research. Based on the survey results, we prepared a biostatistical report guidance. Specifically, we surveyed statistical methods from original papers, letters, and review articles in the New England Journal of Medicine and Nature, and organized frequently used statistical methods and error-prone methods. We also clarified statistical methods used in clinical and basic medical research, and prepared a draft biostatistical reporting guidance for planning, analysis, and reporting of medical research and a draft syllabus for statistical education.
