Note (General): The philosophy which aims of electrical installation in dwelling house is to improve the safty, the convenience, the comfort and the environment. To bring this philosophy into practice for a long range, there is a necessity to build the electrical safety system. In recent years, there has become widely available of dispersion power source such as solar photovoltaic, fuel cell. As a consequence of this, Low Voltage Direct Current(LVDC) distribution system is under study for practical use in the dwelling house. LVDC system has potentially unknown to hazard from electrical shocks. And, there has been studying Smart Grid system for making effective use of available power energy. This smart grid is controlled by wide area communication system. So, the smart grid has potentially hazard from lightning strike. This paper deals with the subjects of detailed further study issues of how the electrical safety practices directed toward the prevention of electrocutions and lightning overvoltage for LVDC system and Smart Grid system.
