本研究では、有害金属汚染土壌を対象として、キレート剤を主成分とする洗浄液を用いて土壌中に含まれる重金属含有量を環境負荷の無いレベルまで低減する技術を開発した。キレート洗浄では、洗浄後の土壌に残留したキレート剤による環境汚染を防ぐために、新たにアミノ酸型生分解性キレート剤を活用した。また、従来困難であったキレート溶液中の有害金属を完全に分離除去する技術として、超分子型固相抽出材の新しい機能を発掘した。
We developed a new remediation method of chemical washing for removal of toxic metals from contaminated soils. This proposed chemical process consists of the following steps: extraction of toxic metals from the contaminated soils using biodegradable chelants washing solution, and separation of the toxic metals from the washing solution with a solid phase extraction system based on supramolecule interaction.
