動画対応ポータブル FPD を用いた筋肉や腱の動態撮像法を開発した．アキレス腱障害のＸ線撮影による画像診断では，アキレス腱の肥厚や石灰化を容易に確認しながら足関節の動態評価が可能となった．また，腱断裂については脂肪組織である Kargar triangle の形態を観察することで診断でき，骨棘障害との鑑別が可能であった．また，下腿三頭筋内側頭挫傷の既往歴のある下腿筋部と正常下腿筋における運動機能の弁別評価が可能であった．本研究課題で開発したX線動態イメージングによって，自然な運動下での足関節可動域と屈曲角度に応じた下腿筋やアキレス腱の形態・動態情報を評価できることが確認できた．
A computerized system for analysis of muscles and Achilles tendon kinetics using sequential radiographs taken with a dynamic flat-panel detector has been developed. Dynamic imaging and analysis of the Achilles tendon can allow assessment of the kinetic information of the foot-ankle system, including joints and bones as well as muscles and tendons, with morphological measurement of the Kager's triangle. With respect to evaluation of the crural muscle, dynamic imaging and analysis can be potentially useful in the differential diagnosis of an injured triceps surae muscle.The developed functional radiographic imaging technique for lower extremities is a promising method for kinetic evaluation of soft tissues and bones of the foot-ankle system in a subject's natural range of motion.
