Note (General): 遮断器内アーク放電減衰の基礎研究を目的として,ナノ・マイクロサイズのポリマー粒子をアークに混入させ,アークを減衰させる新技術の検討を行った。アークにポリマーが接触するとポリマーは溶発し,アーク遮断性能が向上する。ポリアミド材の場合,さらにマイクロサイズの粒子が飛翔するスポレーション現象が生じる。この粒子は溶発ガスより質量密度が大きくアークにより深く侵入し熱を奪う。スポレーション現象発生条件を検討し,ポリアミドへの吸水量と関係することがわかった。
A new technique for high-current interruption has been fundamentally studied using polymer nano- and micro-particles dispersed medium. The arc plasma in a circuit breaker contacts the polymer materials which is installed for insulation, which results in polymer ablation. In addition to this, polyamide materials eject spallation microsized particles, which can penetrate the arc deeply. The present work investigated conditions of spallation occurrence.
