本研究は,黄砂表面における多環芳香族炭化水素(PAH)誘導体の二次生成反応について模擬大気実験系を用いた実験を行い,黄砂表面が関与する大気内PAH誘導体生成反応過程を明らかにするとともに,実大気観測によって,長距離輸送中の黄砂表面における有害PAH誘導体生成を検証し,更にそれらによる生体影響の実態解明を試みた。
The aim of this study is to elucidate atmospheric formation of toxic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) derivatives on the surface of Asian dust particles transported from the Asian Continent to Japan and to evaluate adverse health effects induced by the compounds. We performed chemical reaction experiments of PAHs on the Asian dust particle surface using a reaction-chamber, and investigated the formation of substituted PAHs on the particles.
