2008年度の実験にて更なるディバイス改良とステント回収方法を確立し、2009年度は主に実験動物モデルを用いて冠動脈内に留置したステント回収を行った。冠動脈での使用を可能にすべくディバイスを改良し、in vivoでの実験を行ったが7Frサイズのガイドカテーテルでも満足な操作ができず、被覆カバーの材質変更などの改良を行った。2010年度は改良したディバイスを用いてブタ冠動脈内に留置したステントの回収実験を複数回行った。冠動脈入口部にステント摘出ディバイスを持ち込むことは可能であったが、屈曲した末梢部へは持ち込めなかった。また、ステント留置後、急性期での回収は可能であったが、慢性期モデルでの回収実験ではステントストラットをうまく把持することができず、これらの問題を解決することが課題として残った。
We have invented new stent retrieval device, and experienced stent retrieve using swine coronary artery. We have added some improvement to prototype device for three years, thisstent retrieval device could reach swine coronary artery to take deployed-stent out of coronary artery. But some technical problem have been remained.
