Note (General): 細胞内シグナル伝達機構や薬剤感受性に関わる遺伝子変化を脳腫瘍の培養細胞および臨床検体において検討し、小児悪性脳腫瘍にはこのPI3Kシグナルがあまり関与しないこと、また成人膠芽腫の薬剤耐性遺伝子調節発現におけるメチル化とmRNA発現に相関があることを見出した。また、脳腫瘍についてのデータベースを作成し、石川県始め、近県20施設に配布した。本データベースの充実により、小児悪性脳腫瘍を始めとする脳腫瘍全般に関する知見を得る準備ができた。
