Note (General): 本研究では,主として観測時代を含む数百年における気候変動やそれが関わる水文環境の変動と崩壊・土石流等に見られる地表の物理的応答,いわば水文地形システムを,放射性核種等のトレーサーを利用し,いくつかの湖沼-流域系において,明らかにすることを試みた.対象地域は観測時代の資料が整備されており豪雨の記録が残されている地域(金沢・滝谷池),崩壊多発地域(六甲山系)あるいは歴史的な史料が存在し比較的解像度の良い試・資料が期待できる流域(琵琶湖)である.ここでは,池・湖沼堆積物試料や流域の水文・地形・地質資料等の解析から推定するそれぞれの湖沼-流域系の比較検討を行い,水文地形システムの解明とともに観測時代から歴史時代につながる環境変動の時系列の解明を試みた.本研究から明らかになったことは以下の通りである: 1.対象湖沼における底泥堆積物の放射性核種の分析(Cs-137,Pb-210)からいずれの湖沼でも過去数十年の編年が可能であることを明らかにした. 2.水文・気象特性が湖沼堆積物に記録されていることが近畿・北陸のいずれの地域でも明らかになった. 3.神戸・六甲山系の湖沼堆積物には1995年1月阪神淡路地震の影響も記録されていることが明らかになった。 4.水文地形システムを表現する流域特性(集水性、傾斜)と表層土壌の侵食特性に密接な関係があることが表層土壌に含まれるCs-137濃度の分布特性から明らかになった。
Landform changes in lake-catchment systems may give a great insight into clarifying the relationship between geomorphic processes and geomorphic histories. Tracers and dating tools for mass movement(Cs-137 and Pb-210_<exc>) are inevitable in these studies. Changes in physical properties and Pb-210_<exc> concentration of sediments are closely related to geomorphic changes. Cs-137 concentration in surface layers is connected to surface erosional processes and Pb-210_<exc> and Cs-137 of lake sediments are available for sediment dating. Short-term observation and analyses in the systems reveal some relationship between the processes(heavy rainfall event, earthquake, etc.) and sediment information, suggesting clues to find long-term causal relations in land form evolutions.
