Note (General): アジアモンスーンに関係する自然災害等に関係する水文地形環境を共通の背景をもつ中部日本の琵琶湖・余呉湖と神戸と中国雲南を対象として過去約半世紀における水文地形環境(土砂移動環境)の変動を大地の人為的改変・都市化という大規模な土地利用形態の変化を農業における集団化およびその後の開放経済体制がもたらした土地利用形態の変化という観点を考慮して調査・解析を進めた. 過去50年間における社会的背景(経済の高度成長と社会主義集団化・開放経済体制)を考慮して水文地形環境の変化を定量的に明らかにすることは,人為的な大地への働きかけが人間の活動空間およびその自然環境へもたらした影響を評価することに繋がり,今後の人間の活動空間と自然環境の調和を考察するためには不可欠である.筆者を中心とする研究グループは,これまでに戦後改変された農地等の地形改変地および湖沼が存在する流域(琵琶湖・余呉湖,金沢近郊)および経済の高度成長に伴う都市化が著しく湖沼が存在する流域(神戸)を対象として過去70年間の侵食環境の変動と自然災害について研究を進めてきた.また,中国雲南では,雲南省地理研究所を中心に,農業の集団化・開放経済体制による土地利用形態の変化と土砂災害の問題が主として現地調査,地形図の読図,空中写真の解析等から進められてきた.これまでの研究成果を背景に,雲南において近年における土地利用形態の変化・地形改変と水文地形環境の変動に関する共同調査を主として撫仙湖,星雲湖,杞麗湖およびその流域について行ったが,地震の影響(1970年通海地震等)の他に人為的な社会・経済システム(大躍進政策,文化大革命,開放経済政策等)の影響も認められることを明らかにした。
Analyses of some lake-catchment systems in Yunnan, China and Japan show that they respond to not only hydrological and seismological activities but anthropologenical activities: 1) physical and chemical properties of lake sediments are related to environmental changes in the catchment areas; 2) changes in average mineral grain size of Japanese lake sediments are correlated to rainfall intensity; 3) seismic activities were printed in lake sediments in Yunnan, 4) relative sedimentation rate in Yunnan lakes are roughly proportional to rainfall intensity, average slope of catchment area, and size of bare area in the catchment areas (anthropologeically related).
