Note (General): 金沢方式による聴覚障害乳幼児の訓練法は、早期から文字言語を導入することに特徴がある。すでに本方式による訓練の結果、重度聴覚障害児であっても就学前に良好な言語獲得ができることを実践報告した。本研究では眼球運動解析の手法を用いて、文字言語の意味理解が早期から成立することを客観的な方法で検討することを目的とした。「本実験対象」対象者全員に今回の実験の説明を行い参加に同意を得た。健常成人2名(男性27歳、女性20歳)、健常児童2名(男児7歳、女児8歳)、聴覚障害児3名(女児6歳、10歳、男児7歳)を対象とした。聴覚障害児の平均聴力レベルは80-120dBで、主たるコミュニケーション手段は話し言葉であり、口頭にて実験の内容が十分に理解できた。「方法」対象者にはビデオ画面を注視してもらった。画面上には絵とその絵に関連する文字単語と、他に関連のない文字を提示した。各課題は10秒ずつ提示され、15組の刺激を与えた。眼球運動解析にはナック社のEMR-8を用いた。分析はEMR-8解析システムを用いてアイマーク視線軌跡や停留視線軌跡を各組ごとに行った。「結果」健常成人、児童、聴覚障害児ともに既知の文字単語については、絵に相当する文字に停留視線時間が長い傾向があった。「まとめ」本方法を用いることによって、文字単語と絵の対応課題で文字言語習得過程に分析ができる可能性がわかったので、今後はさらに低年齢の聴覚障害児について検討を進める予定である。
We studied an availability of the learning process of written words for hearing-impaired children with eye movement. The participants were two normal adults, two normal children, and 5 hearing -impaired children. Readers' eye movements were measured by EMR-8 as they rend words on VTR. Fixation times were longer on target words on all subjects. Analysis of eye movement during reading words is proposed to account for the learning of written words comprehension for hearing-impaired children.
