Note (General): 研究成果報告書は薄膜を有する積層体に力学的負荷や熱的負荷を与えそこに生ずる変形,ひずみ情報を用いて,薄膜の機械的特性を推定する方法論を記述したもので,次のような章構成と内容になっている. 1.薄膜の機械的特性評価法の現状と問題点. 薄膜の機械的特性を推定する手法として,これまで開発されている方法を分類し,それらが単独膜を利用するものと,積層膜を利用するものとに分けられること.さらにそれらが静的手法と動的手法に分けられることを示した.そして本研究が積層膜を用い,しかも力学的手段を応用する静的手法の1つであることを述べている. 2.薄膜構造の接触応力解析法とその応用. 薄膜積層体に剛体圧子を圧入・接触させ,その荷重や変形情報から薄膜の機械的特性のみを分離解析する方法論の提案をしている.まず薄膜積層体に剛体球が接触する場合の弾性接触理論を,ヘルツの接触論を応用する形で示している.次にその理論から,薄膜のヤング率とポアソン比を推定する具体的方法を示し,対応する実験も実施しその有効性を明らかにしている.また薄膜の弾性的特性のみでなく,その降伏点や硬化率等の弾塑性的特性についても,薄膜積層体の弾塑性FEM解析手法を用いて行う試みを示している. 3.薄膜構造の曲げ変形解析法とその応用. 薄膜積層体に曲げ変形を与え,そのたわみ量を測定して,薄膜のみの機械的特性を分離推定する方法を提案している.まず薄膜積層板に温度変化を与えたときの曲げ変形量を求める式を導出し,これから薄膜のヤング率と線膨張係数を推定する具体的方法を示している.さらにこれに対応した実験も試み,その有効性を明らかにしている.また薄膜積層体の曲げ理論をプリント基板等の強度評価に用いうることも示している.
Theoretical and experimental techniques to estimate mechanical properties of thin films are studied. The studies are summarized as follows :(1)By appplying the Hertzian contact theory and assuming a stress field in the film-coated body, an approximate solution of elastic contact problem between film-coated bodies is proposed. By using the solution, a technique to estimate Young's modulus and Poisson's ratio of thin films is proposed and applied to an experimental model.(2)A technique to estimate Yielding point and work hardening ratio of thin films is proposed using the elasto-plastic finite element method.(3)The bending theory of a muti-laminate subjected to thermal load is proposed. By using this theory, Young's modulus and Poisson's ratio of thin films are estimated and compared with the corresdponding experimental values.
