Note (General): 非結晶性の高分子材料について引張およびせん断の変形を行った場合の降伏現象について調べた。低温・高ひずみ速度の場合には、せん断帯が生じて降伏する(LSBモード)。一方、高温・低ひずみ速度の場合には、微細な無数のすべり線の発生と成長のみで降伏する(DSLモード)。また高速・低温でのLSBモードが低速・高温ではDSLモードに遷移することを発見し、降伏モード遷移を規定するひずみ速度・温度条件の実験式を得た。微細なすべり線の成長速度の温度および応力依存依存性はEyringの速度過程論によって説明できる。
