本研究では,様々な酸素活性種を持つ二核(μ-η^2-η^2-peroxo)Cu(II)_2,(μ-1,2-peroxo)Fe(III)_2,bis(μ-oxo)Ni(III)_2 およびbis(μ-oxo)Co(III)_2 錯体を合成し,酸化反応性を調べた。その結果,二核錯体でCo(III)_2 錯体を除いて様々なC-H結合解離エネルギー(~80 -~92 kcal mol^-1)を持つ脂肪族化合物を水素引き抜き反応で酸化することを見いだした。
(μ-η^2:η^2-Peroxo)Cu(II)_2, (μ-1,2-peroxo)Fe(III)_2, bis(μ-oxo)Ni(III)_2, and bis(μ-oxo)Co(III)_2 complexes were prepared using dinucleating ligands. All the complexes except for (μ-oxo)Co(III)_2 complex are capable of initiating the oxidation of aliphatic C-H bonds having BDEsfrom ~80 - ~92 kcal mol^-1 by H-atom abstraction.
