保育園で保育士が活用できる「気になる子ども」のアセスメントツールを作成し、それを用いて保育園児453名を対象に、担任保育士による定期的なアセスメントを1年にわたり実施した。「気になる子ども」は19.6％にみられ、その割合は男児が有意に高かった。「気になる子ども」の行動特性は、社会性の低さ、落ち着きなさ、過敏性、自閉傾向などに分類された。個人の分析結果を縦断的に視覚化することにより、障害を思わせる特性パターンが抽出された。また「気になる子ども」の親は子どもとの関わりに困難感を感じる一方で、子どもへの関わりが中途半端と評価される者が多く、親子関係の問題も示唆された。
The purpose of this study is, that by elucidating the problems of “children with special care needs” and then to develop assessment tool, which can be utilized by nursery teacher at nursery to assess them.Four-hundred forty three children were evaluated by the nursery teachers for one year. The ratio of “children with special care needs” was 19.6%, regarding the gender ratio, boys 30.7% and girls 8.2%, thus boys were significantly higher. Behavioral characteristics of "children with special care needs" have been classified, such as low of society, hyperactivity, hyper sensitivity, and autistic tendency. In addition, some patterns reminiscent of a disorder has been extracted. The parents of such children often felt difficulty to involvement with the child, and there were the indicative of the parent-child relationship problem.
