リポソームカプセルのリン脂質2重層にNKT細胞活性化物質「α-GalCer」を挿入し、スギ花粉T細胞エピトープを封入し、CTLエピトープを表面に結合することによってリポソームワクチンを構築した。インフルエンザウイルス感染およびスギ花粉症モデルマウスを対象に、リポソームワクチンを6日間、予防的に投与し、IFV抗体価を指標として検討した結果、新しいインフルエンザウイルスワクチンの有効性が証明された。
We constructed liposomes vaccines, in α-GalCe, an activated substance in NKT cell was inserted into the bilayers of phospholipid liposome capsules, and T cell epitopes derived from Japanese cedar pollen was included and attached to the surface of CTL epitopes. We examined IFV titers in the model mouse infected by influenza virus and sensitized by Japanese cedar pollen. In results, the administration of the vaccines for 6 days before the infection showed the prophylactic effects.
