Note (General): 今回の研究の意義としては、仮説として脂肪酸の代謝経路に、発達障害児に健常との違いがあることを想定し、非侵襲的で簡単に採取可能な尿をもちいて、脂肪酸代謝物から、広汎性発達障害のバイオマーカーを探索することが目的であった。しかし結果として、現在尿中から測定可能なミリスチン酸、パルミチン酸、リノール酸、オレイン酸、ステアリン酸、アラキジン酸、ベヘン酸といった7種類の脂肪酸においては、バイオマーカーとしての所見が得られなかった。
Because of its characteristics and simple non-invasive methods of collection, urine is particularly suited for metabolomic analysis even in young children. We explore urine fatty acid metabolic substance as a biomarker for autism spectrum disorder. In 32 ASD children and 24 typically developing(TD) young children(3-7 years old), 7 fatty acid metabolic substances(i. e., myristic acid, palmitic acid, linoleic acid, oleic acid, stearic acid, arachidic acid, behenic acid) in urine were quantified using gas chromatography. mass spectrometry. As a result, there were no significant differences in these concentrations between ASD and TD children. In addition, there were no significant correlations between cognitive performances and these concentrations.
