Note (General): 本研究では、多変数超幾何関数の局所的性質と数式処理に基づいて公式の導出を行った。多変数超幾何関数の一種であるFisher-Bingham 積分および Fisher 積分に対して、Pfaff 方程式系と呼ばれる一階偏微分方程式系を導出した。さらに方向統計学における最尤推定問題に応用するために、ホロノミック勾配降下法という新しい記号的数値解析アルゴリズムを開発した。それを用いて具体的に最尤推定問題を解いた。さらに研究成果の一環として数学ソフトウェアを作成した。
In this research, we introduced formulas for some hypergeometric functions with multi-variables using by computer algebra. We found the Pfaffian differential system for the Fisher-Bingham integral and the Fisher integral. In order to apply formulas to Maximum Likelihood Estimation on statistics, we developed new symbolic-numerical method “Holonomic Gradient Descent” and solved concrete MLE problems. Moreover we implemented mathematical software.
