ある領域に生息する生物の個体数変動を表すモデルを考える。ここでは、死亡率、再生産率、移入率などが各個体のサイズ、時刻、場所に依存して決まり、さらに各個体は空間的に生息域に拡散していくものとする。本研究では、このようなモデルを解析する新しい枠組みとして、抽象的な偏微分方程式の理論の構築と整備を図った。基礎理論として、解の存在と一意性、初期値に関する連続的依存性、解の正値性を示した。また、比較定理、双対問題や弱解の一意性などを研究した。
We have considered some population models living in a habitat. Here, the mortality, the reproduction, and the inflow are supposed to depend on the individual’s size, time and position. In addition, each individual is supposed to spread in the habitat. In this research, as a new framework to analyze such models, we have intended to introduce and develop a theory of abstract partial differential equations. As a basic theory, we have established the existence and uniqueness of solutions, continuous dependence on initial data and positivity of solutions. Also, we have investigated comparison theorem, the dual problem and uniqueness of weak solutions.
