本研究は、中近世日本における武家政権の宝物（絵画）コレクションとその歴史図像学的研究である。大坂城宝蔵にあった豊臣秀吉・秀頼の絵画コレクションを詳細に書き写した『豊臣御数寄屋記録』を翻刻・紹介した。本史料に掲載された作品の比定作業により、中近世武家政権の宝蔵とコレクションの継承と断絶の歴史を解明した。また、足利尊氏甲冑騎馬肖像画、豊臣秀吉像、東京藝術大学所蔵「聚楽第行幸図屏風」、徳川美術館所蔵「龍虎図」をとり上げ、豊臣政権の美術戦略を考察した。さらに、湯田中温泉よろづや所蔵「唐獅子図屏風」や金沢市内の板戸絵の調査により、中近世の獅子・虎図の歴史図像学的考察をすすめた。
This is a historical and iconographic study on the collection of treasure held by warrior governments in medieval and early modern Japan, which reprinted and introduced "Toyotomi Osukiya Kiroku," a detailed list of paintings collected by Hideyoshi and Hideyori Toyotomi and stored in the treasure house of Osaka castle. Through comparing the paintings listed in the above list, we revealed the history of succession/discontinued succession of the treasure houses and collections of warrior governments in the medieval and early modern Japan. We also focused on portraits of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, those of Ashikaga Takauji, "Jyurakudai Gyoko-zu Byobu" and "Ryuko-zu" to examine Toyotomi government's strategy of utilizing the art. In addition, we examined paintings of lion and tiger in the medieval and early modern Japan from the historical and iconographic aspect through researches of "Karajishi-zu Byobu" and some paintings on wooden door board in Kanazawa-city.
