Note (General): 先端に質量を持つ片持ちはり状の振動子の集まり(振動子群)を構造物上に設置し、振動子相互の質量の衝突によって振動エネルギーを吸収するダンパを開発した。振動子が2個の基本的な場合について、振動子間の距離、反発係数、固有振動数がダンパ性能に及ぼす影響を明らかにし、直線的に配置した振動子3個の場合にもほぼ同様であることを示した。次にx-y二方向に振動する振動子を平面的に設置して面内で振動する構造物の制振を試み、本ダンパが効果的に作用することを実証した。
A vibration damper with plural vibrators which consist of a cantilever beam and a mass of its end has been developed to absorb the main system mechanical energy with their mutual collisions. Influence of a gap between the vibrators, the coefficient of restitution and the natural frequency on the damper performance is made clear in the case of two vibrators. It is shown that the effect for a three vibrators damper is same as the two vibrators. Vibration suppress for a structure with two directional vibrations in plane is tried by the vibrators moving in x-y plane and it is demonstrated that the present damper is also effective to the two directional vibrations.
