熱中症予防には“こまめな水の摂取”が重要であるが、これは摂取した水がすみやかに体内に吸収されることが前提である。しかしながらスポーツ活動中の水の吸収については不明な点が多い。本研究では運動中に起きる低酸素や高体温が水の輸送に重要である水チャネル・アクアポリンの動態への影響を細胞や動物を用いて検討した。その結果、低酸素、高体温、炎症、そして運動では水チャネル・アクアポリンの発現が影響されることが示唆された。
Absorption of water is an important factor for prevention of heat-related illness. In this study, we investigateed the effects of hypoxia, heat stress, inflammation, or exercise on an expression of aquaporin in vitro and in vivo. Our study demonstrates that hypoxia, heat stress, inflammation, or exercise regulate the expression of aquaporin.
