断酒することを決心した女性アルコール依存症者が、断酒継続した生活を過ごす中でどのような心理過程をたどり、うつ状態に陥ることなく、日々過ごしてきたか、何が断酒継続への効果につながっているかを明らかにすることを目的に面接を継続的に行った。その結果、飲酒していたときと物事のとらえ方や自分自身に対する見方が少しずつ変化し、自己を振り返りながら1日1日を一生懸命に生きていくことで、自然に断酒を継続していくことが出来ていた。また家族が自分を認めてくれるようになったことが生きることの支えになっていた。また定期的に女性AAミーティングに参加し続けることが断酒継続に大きな役割をもっていたと認識していた。
Female alcoholic dependent determinants deciding to drink what kind of psychological processes were traced as they spent living continuing to stay away from alcoholic drinks and they stayed day by day without falling into depression? We continued to interview with the aim of clarifying whether it led to the effect. As a result, when you were drunk, how you looked at things and how you looked at them changed little by little, you can continue to live yourselves naturally by living one day a day while looking back on your self I was able to go. In addition, the fact that family members acknowledged ourselves was a support for living. I also recognized that continuing to participate in women's AA meetings regularly had a major role in continuing to stay away from alcohol.
