本研究は、脳性麻痺児をより自律的な生活者へと育てるためライフ・ベースト・サポートモデル(LBSM)を提唱し、その定式化を試みた。その成果として、従来の障害診断と教育的アプローチに、生活履歴（ライフ・ヒストリー）という当事者の通時的側面の情報を加えることで、介助者には対象に即したより包括的な支援の視点を、そして、脳性麻痺児には自律的な判断の機会を提供する手続きを組み込んだサポートモデルを構築できた。
In this research, we propose a life-based support model (LBSM) to nurture a child with cerebral palsy more autonomous, and tried to formulate it. As a result of that, by adding information on the temporal aspects of the parties' lifestyle (life history) to conventional fault diagnosis and educational approach, caregivers can provide a more comprehensive support viewpoint , And a cerebral palsy child could build a support model incorporating procedures to provide autonomous judgment opportunities.
