Note (General): 遺伝医学の著しい進歩によりわれわれの知識基盤が拡大することで社会、患者、臨床医からの遺伝医療へのニーズが高まることが予測される。今後医療の中で遺伝情報を適切に活用するために早急に検討すべき課題として、医学教育への臨床遺伝教育の導入があげられる。日本において臨床遺伝に関する教育内容は欧米型をそのまま応用することは難しく本邦独自のものを作成すべきであろうと考える。本研究では、本研究では、医療職から臨床遺伝、医学教育、非医療職から生命倫理、遺伝医療に関わるさまざま専門職により研究メンバーを構成し、臨床遺伝教育プログラム開発に向けた課題を調査、明確にした。特に学習者(医学生)が中心となる能動的に臨床遺伝教育プログラムの開発を行った。この臨床遺伝教育プログラムが本邦における医学教育の中に有効となる導入に向けた課題を明確にし、実現可能にするための検討を行った。
