網膜神経線維層欠損があるが、通常の視野検査にて異常のない極早期緑内障症例の構造と機能に関して検討した。眼底対応小視標視野計は極早期緑内障の検出に有用であった。眼底対応視野計と光干渉断層計を用いることにより網膜神経線維層欠損の構造と機能が明らかになった。網膜神経線維層欠損にも深い部位と浅い部位が存在し、深い部位(神経線維層のより薄い部位)に感度低下があることが明らかになった。
We evaluated structure and function of glaucoma subjects with localized retinal nerve fiber layer defects not accompanied by a perimetric defect according to standard automated perimetry (pre-perimetric glaucoma). Fundus-oriented small-target perimetry was a useful method to detect visual field abnormalities in pre-perimetric glaucoma. The relationship of structure and function of the retinal nerve fiber layer defect was clarified by using fundus-oriented perimetry and optical coherence tomography. Deep defect parts and shallow defect parts are present in a retinal nerve fiber layer defect and it became clear that there was visual field sensitivity depression in the deep defect part of the retinal nerve fiber layer defect.
