Note (General): この研究の目的は、地域住民と大学、看護学生などが地域で暮らすがん患者とその家族を協同で支えるシステムのモデルを構築することであった。2,611世帯を対象とした地域住民に対するがんについての意識調査では、がんに対するがん経験者と未経験者の意識の違いを明らかにした。がん経験がない者は、がん経験がある者よりがんに対し否定的なイメージを持っており、がん経験がない者を対象としたがん教育の必要性が示唆された。
The purpose of this study was to create a model of a system to support cancer patients and their families in the community in cooperation with communities, universities, and nursing students.The survey on cancer awareness administered to community residents in 2,611 households revealed different levels of awareness between those who had cancer and those who had no experience with cancer. Those that had no experience with cancer had a negative image of cancer compared to those who had experienced cancer, suggesting a need for cancer education for those who had no experience with cancer.
