Note (General): トリアジニルアンモニウム塩を基盤とする光励起型アルキルラジカル発生法を開発した。トリアジニルアンモニウム塩に対するUV照射による直接的なラジカル発生は種々検討した結果、困難であることが明らかになった。一方で、ある種の金属光レドックス触媒と還元剤存在下、可視光を照射すると、トリアジニルアンモニウム塩からアルキルラジカルが発生し、共存するマイケルアクセプターと反応し目的の付加体を収率73%で与えることを明らかにした。
I have developed a method for photo-induced alkyl radical generation based on triazinylammonium salt. Direct radical generation by UV irradiation to triazinylammonium salt has proved to be difficult. On the other hand, the reaction of triazinylammonium salt in the presence of a metal photoredox catalyst and a reducing agent under visible light irradiation allowed to generate the alkyl radical, which subsequently reacted with the coexisting Michael acceptor to give the desired adduct in a 73% yield.
