Note (General): 本課題では、自己集合を利用した芳香環および金属錯体の壁で囲まれた空孔を持つベルト状環状金属錯体（メタロナノベルト）の構築を行った。屈曲型配位子としてテトラアミノトリプチセンを用い、金属イオンとの自己集合によりメタロナノベルトの効率的な構築を試みた結果、ピラーアレーン誘導体をテンプレートとして利用することで、五核メタロナノベルトが定量的に形成できることを見出した。また、テンプレートを除きゲストフリーの五核メタロナノベルトを単離することにも成功し、メタロナノベルトは自己集合型錯体であるにも関わらず環サイズ変換に対して比較的安定な構造体であることも明らかにした。
We constructed a new self-assembled belt-shaped metallomacrocycle, metllonanobelt, having a cavity surrounded by aromatic walls and metal complexes. It was found that the pentanuclear metallonanobelt was selectively formed by the complexation of metal ions and tetraaminotriptycene in the presence of pillararene derivative as a template. We also succeeded in the isolation of guest-free pentamer metallonanobelt by the removal of the template. Furthermore, the isolated metallonanobelt was found to be remarkably stable toward size-conversion.
