本研究では、先商文化とされる下七垣文化の社会構造を明らかにし、殷文化がいかなる社会構造を背景に夏王朝とされる二里頭文化と交替したのか解明する。下七垣文化に属する劉荘遺跡を分析した結果、副葬土器点数・葬具・構造は墓の規模と相関し、集団内に階層差が存在したことを指摘した。ただし突出した地位の不在や階層表示システムの未整備より、階層化社会の萌芽段階と捉えた。その後、酒器による階層表示など、二里頭文化の影響を受容しながら殷文化の葬制が形成されていく。
The purpose of this study was to clarify the social structure of Xiaqiyuan culture(Xianshang culture) in order to elucidate the process of changing from Erlitou culture to Shang culture.The analysis results of Liuzhuang site suggest that There is an strong correlation between grave scale, burial pottery, coffin and structure. Therefore, it means that there was social hierarchy in the Liuzhuang group. However, because of the non-existence of high hierarchy and the undeveloped hierarchical system, the author also identifies Xiaqiyuan culture is still in the early stage of hierarchical society. In the prosecce of changing from Xiaqiyuan culture to Erligang culture, Shang culture was strongly affected by Erlitou culture, and formed Shang burial system gradually.
